The English Springer Spaniel is an active breed and requires ample protein, especially when they're growing or when their physical activity level is high. Carbohydrates & Fiber

Carbohydrates serve as a great source of energy and fiber for your English Springer Spaniel, if they are the right ones. Like everything else in Kabo fresh foods, the carbs included in Kabo recipes are from human-grade whole sources.  We use chickpeas, sweet potato, russet potato, rice or squash, depending upon the recipe. We don’t add any fillers, like wheat or corn, to our recipes unlike many commercial dog foods- including some premium or ultra premium brands! 

Our recipes are formulated by in-house animal nutritionists to provide balanced diets that are loved by dogs. For dietary fiber Kabo uses Canadian fruits and vegetables such as red apples, carrots, kale, spinach and green beans. This adds more than just fiber, but important vitamins, and minerals such as folic acid, potassium, vitamin A, C and K, that your Springer Spaniel needs.

Like humans, fats are essential for English Springer Spaniels and are a part of their balanced diet. The right types of fat, in the correct amounts, are essential for your dog. Springer Spaniels sometimes face skin problems that become worse due to environmental or food allergies,  especially when they lick their coat and scratch. When the required amount of Omega fatty acids are included in your Springer Spaniel’s diet, it will help promote healthy skin, an attractive coat, proper immune function, joint health, and cardiovascular health.
