High-quality, human-grade meats are the 1st ingredient in Kabo's fresh recipes. Dogs, even the really picky ones, love eating these foods because they taste like human food! Each Kabo recipe is made with lean proteins, and other human-grade only, fresh ingredients. Choose from Salmon, Lamb, Chicken, Turkey or Beef fresh recipes, made with local Canadian ingredients. 

Dogs with food allergies will love the tasty Hypoallergenic Salmon recipe. It's made with real salmon filets and minimal other non-offending, natural ingredients, like blueberries and spinach. If you’re giving your Cavalier a grain-free diet, the Savoury Beef is a mealtime favourite that satisfies the pickiest of eaters.

Carbohydrates & Fiber

Carbohydrates are another essential macronutrient Cavalier King Charles Spaniel needs to fulfill their energy requirements. For carbohydrates, Kabo uses only natural quality food sources such as sweet potato, chickpeas, russet potato, rice, and squash depending upon the recipes. Filler ingredients or flavour enhancers, such as corn syrup/sugars, wheat, soy or corn, are never used Kabo fresh recipes. 

AAFCO doesn’t recommend any specified proportion of carbohydrates, but as a pet parent, you can rely on our recipes because we have carefully formulated them with the help of our experienced in-house animal nutritionists. Canadian fruits and vegetables, such as blueberries, kale, red apples, carrots, green beans, and spinach are added to our recipes to provide fibre, and minerals such as potassium, vitamin A, C, K, iron, folic acid, and more.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel can suffer from digestive issues. When they have an upset stomach, our chicken and rice recipe is known for being gentle on their stomachs.

Fats

Fats are just as essential for a Charles Cavalier as they are for us humans. But, only fats in optimal quantities and types should be served. Kabo uses fats from lean proteins, supplemented with ideal amounts of human-grade fish oil and sunflower oil.
