Dietary needs for a

Boston Terrier

Protein

Considering that obesity, allergies and sensitive stomachs are common dietary health problems for Boston Terriers, so selecting the right food for your dog can be a challenge. Human-grade meat protein sources are the #1 ingredient in Kabo’s recipes to make sure your furry friend stays healthy and fit. We use the same quality of meat you'd be served in a restaurant or even find in your own kitchen.

For those Boston Terriers that have food allergies, we recommend our Hypoallergenic Salmon recipe. It's made with limited ingredients including real salmon filets, blueberries and spinach. Our Tender Chicken recipe helps settle the sometimes sensitive stomachs of a Boston Terrier. If you are looking for grain-free dog food, we'd suggest the Savoury Beef option- plus, even picky dogs love the taste!

Carbohydrates & Fibre

Boston Terriers are quite a lively breed. They benefit from quality sources of carbohydrates for energy, just as humans do. They also require fibre to promote optimal digestive health. To achieve this, we use only natural sources of carbohydrates, unlike some traditional dry dog foods that use animal feed-grade wheat or corn. Fresh russet potatoes, chickpeas, squash, and sweet potatoes go in to our recipes- no corn or wheat.

Fibre content is important too. By including fresh Canadian, human-grade fruits and veggies such as spinach, kale, carrots, red apple, green beans, and blueberries, your Boston Terrier gets natural fibre and the extensive nutrients from these ingredients. Your Boston Terrier's health will be supported by minerals and vitamins like potassium, iron, folic acid, and vitamins A, C, and K for whole-body health.

Fats

A balanced diet contains the right amount of fats. But do you know what a healthy, balanced diet contains- what's the right type of fats in the right amount? Kabo has done this research and provides fresh foods with an optimal fat balance for your Boston Terrier.

By choosing a Kabo fresh diet, your pup will get their fats from quality lean proteins, supplemented with Omega-3 fatty acids and Omega-6 fatty acids, from human-grade fish and sunflower oil. No need for expensive supplements or add-ons!

This approach of balanced fats and the inclusion of Omega fatty acids can help with joint health, healthy skin, immune health and the promotion of a shiny coat.

I love this company

I love this company. We have been buying out dog food and treats for our Boston Terrier Vinnie for a couple of years now. He loves the food, we buy the beef meal, it smells great and looks like shepherds pie minus the corn. Everything is packaged beautifully I’ve never had issues with the food being warm and I live 5 hours from the nearest city. Also client support are awesome when purolator had lost my parcel. I have zero complaints and highly recommend for both quality and service.

We got Boston terrier puppy in….

We got our Boston terrier puppy in December, and he became VERY picky. He did not like traditional wet food, and he became really picky with his kibble. I was researching raw, and cooking for him myself, when I came across kabo. We tried out the fresh cooked meals and we were sold. He devours it. We now get the kibble and the cooked (50/50) and it is a perfect combo. We were at our wits end with him, and Kabo has saved us. Thank you! Ohtis loves his food now.
